Role Overview:

We are looking for an AI Researcher based in the United States to explore advanced methods, validate emerging approaches, and help translate research into deployable solution patterns. You will work on experimentation, benchmarking, model behavior analysis, and high-value technical investigations that inform delivery strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate emerging techniques across LLMs, multimodal AI, computer vision, and retrieval systems
• Design experiments, benchmarks, and evaluation frameworks for applied AI use cases
• Translate research insights into practical recommendations for engineering teams
• Build prototypes that test novel approaches under realistic delivery constraints
• Compare models, tools, and architectural options with a strong bias toward usefulness
• Document findings clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience in AI research, applied ML, or advanced experimentation roles
• Strong understanding of modern ML, LLM, and evaluation concepts
• Ability to move between research papers, experimentation, and implementation guidance
• Strong Python skills and comfort working with research tooling and rapid prototypes
• Clear written communication and ability to explain technical tradeoffs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and available as a US-based remote hire

Good to have:

• Experience publishing research, contributing to open-source AI work, or leading technical investigations
• Familiarity with agentic systems, fine-tuning, multimodal workflows, or benchmarking frameworks
• Experience working with product or engineering teams to operationalize research findings
